From Graces Guide

Note: This is a sub-section of Gloster Aircraft Co Aircraft

1929 Aircraft designed by Henry Folland for the 1929 Schneider Trophy competition. Referred to as the Golden Arrow in reference to Segrave's record breaking car. Used a Napier engine which, like its predecessors, was powerful in level flight but suffered from fuel interruption when turning fast. In the event the Supermarine aircraft was used for the competition instead of the Gloster aircraft.
