Gloster Saro

1965 Hawker Siddeley announced that it was merging two of its subsidiary companies in the engineering field, Gloster Equipment Ltd, and Saro (Anglesey) Ltd, to form a new company, Gloster Saro Ltd. Gloster Equipment's main products were road tankers and aircraft refuellers, an extensive range of agricultural machinery, automatic vending machines and a range of engineering products including a successful range of flow-measuring equipment widely used in the oil and chemical industry.[1]
