Goyen Lathes

A Mr Goyen of 'Chalet Bon Air', near Newton Abbot and Kingskerwell, constructed a number of very expensive ornamental turning lathes. An example made in 1873 cost over £1500, a considerable sum. Only about a dozen were produced[1]
