GRAHAME HARDIE THOMSON died at Glasgow in September 1898, at the age of fifty-seven.
Born at Grangemouth, he went to Glasgow forty years ago, and as a youth entered the service of Messrs P. & W. MacLellan, Clutha works. Some fourteen years later he became a partner in the firm, and in 1890, when it was converted into a limited liability company, continued as director.
He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1873.
