Gravesend and Northfleet Electric Tramways

1901 The company was registered in April, and shortly afterwards acquired the Gravesend, Rosherville and Northfleet Tramways, then worked by horsepower, with the benefit of a Tramway Order authorising extensions and electrical equipment throughout.

1908 The change of power has been completed. The tramways are held in perpetuity, subject to the right of the local authorities to purchase. [1]
