1860 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, John Aspden and Daniel Groves and William Grime Briggs, carrying on business at Over Darwen, in the county of Lancaster, as Power Loom Cloth Manufacturers, under the style or firm of Groves, Briggs, and Aspden, is this day dissolved by mutual consent, so tar as regards the said John Aspden. All debts owing to and by the said partnership will be received and paid by the said Daniel Groves and William Grime Briggs, by whom the business will in future be carried on...'[1]
