'...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Josiah Guest and William Silvester, carrying on business at the Victoria Iron Foundry, Swan Village, West Bromwich, in the county of Stafford, and also at the Albert Iron Foundry, Great Bridge, in the said county of Stafford, as Ironfounders, under the style or firm of Guest and Silvester, has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as from the 31st day of December last. All debts owing to and from the said firm will be received and paid by the said Josiah Guest, by whom the business will in future be carried on...'[1]
