'... the Partnership heretofore existing between us the undersigned, George Fuller Guy and Thomas Stevens, carrying on business under the style or firm of Guy and Stevens, at Ceres Iron Works, Kingston-on-Thames, as Engineers and Implement Makers, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to and owing by the said partnership will be received and paid by the said Thomas Stevens, who will continue to carry on the said business under the style of Thomas Stevens and Company...'[1]
