From Graces Guide

1949 Celcon was established to develop the uses of aerated concrete.

1958 Factory was built at Grays, Essex, for the production of pre-cast aerated concrete blocks and screeds.

1966 Celcon opened a second works at Rugeley in Staffordshire to supply the Midlands area

1974 Celcon moved into the West Country, opening a purpose-built factory at Westbury.

1992, the Rugeley factory was closed
