Born at Biggleswade the son of Edward Bate Shenton, a Nurseryman, and his wife Alice Hine

1899 Married at Upper Norwood to Alice Hollis

1911 Living at 148 Bedford Hill, Balham: Henry Shenton (age 41 born Biggleswade), Civil Engineer Consulting. With his wife Alice, his mother Alice and three sons and a cousin.[1]
