Herbert Davis Palmer (c1873-1950) of Strachan and Co

1950 Died. 'The death has occurred after several months of indifferent health of Mr, Herbert Davis Palmer, of The Cedars, Stroud, a former director of the firm of Strachan & Co, 77, Mr. Palmer was a associated with Strachan and Co. native of the district, and was for upwards of 40 years. For a long period he was mill manager and he was a director for about 20 years. He retired in November, 1942. He was a widower and had no children.'[1]
