1905 Associate of Inst Electrical Engineers

1909 H. H. Couzens, having been deputy electrical engineer for Bristol, was appointed resident engineer at West Ham Electricity Works[2]

1911 Electrical Engineer to West Ham Contractor[3]

By 1914 was working for the Toronto Hydro-electric works

By 1927 was in Brazil with the Rio de Janeiro Tramway, Light and Power Co

1937 Created KBE[4]

Vie-president of Brazilian Traction, Light and Power Co.; director of City of Santos Improvement Co., and the Sao Paulo Electric Co.

1944 Sir Henry Herbert Couzens of Sidmouth, Devon, died in Romford[5]
