1881 Joined his father in a partnership in electric telegraph engineering and electric lighting.[2]
1871 Living at Spring House, Corney, Cumberland: John Musgrove Norman (age 34 born Colchester), Telegraph Engineer. With his son Hubert Musgrove Norman (age 12 born Belgravia, Mddx.). Also his brother Arthur Harry Norman (age 21 born Colchester), Telegraph Engineer.[3]
