1946 Became a public company. Trademark Sunpat. Disposed of Stanwhite subsidiary[2]
1957 Acquired Elizabeth Shaw[3]
1958 Acquired Maconochie Foods[4]
1962 Formed Branded Foods Ltd in conjunction with Marmite Ltd to manufacture snack foods under the Sun-Pat and Marmite brands[5]
1963 The 38th AGM. Sun-Pat Salted Nuts, Sun Pat Peanut Butter, Pan Yan Pickle, Rob Roy fish products. T. A. Barnes is Chairman and MD.[6]
1965 Identified large discrepancy in stock values; planned to close Camberwell factory[7]
1967 The company was put into liquidation[8] The receiver sold Sun-Pat Products and Maconochie Brothers (Hadfield), both of Hadfield near Glossop, to Rowntree and Co[9]. Thomas Arthur Barnes, Chairman lost his personal fortune.[10]
