1919 H. T. Boothroyd (Port Glasgow) Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £10,000, to take over the part of the business of H. T. Boothroyd Limited, Bootle, electrical engineers, which comprised the general electrical contracting business as carried on in Scotland, and the installing of electrical equipment on ships.[1]

1923 In November, the company went into voluntary liquidation.[2]
