'We regret to record the death, on April 26, of Mr. H. Winston Bailey, chairman of Motor Gear and Engineering Industries Ltd. Mr. Bailey, who was born on January 14, 1904, joined S. Hubbard Ltd., the parent company of Motor Gear, in 1959, and was elected chairman of S. Hubbard in the same year. When S. Hubbard changed its name to Motor Gear and Engineering Industries Ltd., Mr. Bailey remained as chairman.

He was also chairman of Motor Gear's subsidiaries, Scientific Welding Ltd., Steel Hulls Ltd., and Lancaster Carpets Ltd.
