1970 Upper Clyde Shipbuilders placed an order for deck cranes with the company[1]

1997 Alvis acquired Hagglund Vehicles, maker of armoured vehicles[2]

2001 Developed the Viking armoured vehicle for the Royal Marines[3]

2004 Acquired by BAE Systems with its purchase of Alvis

2004 BAE Land Systems Hagglunds won a contract for combat vehicles from the Netherlands government[4]

Then became part of BAE Systems Land and Armaments business.

BAE Systems Hägglunds provides vehicle systems for military and civilian applications, includin combat vehicles, armoured engineering vehicles and armoured personnel carriers.
