1961 Company incorporated to acquire Hall and Co Ltd and Thames Grit and Aggregates Ltd

1963 Acquired Woodside Brickworks and 2 subsidiary companies at Newdigate, Surrey and Ashford, Kent.

1964 Acquired S. M. Tidy Group of Brighton[2]

1967 Said to be the "largest producer of sand and gravel in the country"[3]

1968 Acquired by RMC; much of the aggregate produced was used in RMC's concrete[4]

1991 Hall and Ham River Ltd was re-registered as a private company.
