Hall and Kay
Hall and Kay of Stockport Road, Ashton-under-Lyne were producers of equipment for the cotton industry. Later became air conditioning and ventilation engineers.

1963 Acquired Electric House (1955) Ltd of Denton, Manchester, electrical contractors. Hall and Kay would offer a full range of heating, air conditioning and ventilation services, and electrical equipment and wiring, to engineers, architects and surveyors.
1970 Won the largest contract in the company's 92 year history
By 1976 had changed its name to Kempergate when the receivers were appointed
