Scotia Leather Works, 108 Boden Street, Bridgeton, Glasgow

1876 The Scotia Leather Works was burned to the ground, with property to the value of between £10,000 and £15,000 destroyed.[1]

1883 A fire occurred in a warehouse adjacent to the main factory, which resulted in the destruction of a large stock of finished leather of an estimated value of around £6,000.[2]

1906 Hamilton, Caldwell and Sons Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £100,000, to acquire as a going concern the business carried on by Hamilton, Caldwell and Sons, tanners, curriers and leather merchants.[3]

1928 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[4]
