1878 Patent application by Hamor Lockwood, of Manchester, in the county of Lancaster, in respect of the invention of "improvements in composition for applying to railway arches and other structures to render the same waterproof, and in the method of applying such composition."[1]
1898 the company, Harmor Lockwood's Ltd, of 7 Chapel Walks, was in voluntary liquidation[2]
