HAROLD HARGROVE was born in London on the 1st April, 1867, and died at Marlow, Bucks, on the 10th August, 1944.

He was educated at Harrow and at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he obtained the degrees of M.A. and LL.M. He was admitted as a solicitor on the 4th December, 1890, and shortly afterwards joined his father, the late James Sidney Hargrove, in practice under the firm name of Hargrove & Co.
