"WE regret to record the death, at the age of fifty-nine, of MR. HAROLD HEATH, chairman of Coventry Radiator and Presswork Company Ltd., and joint managing director of the parent group, Associated Engineering Ltd. He collapsed and died while shooting in Berkshire on Friday last. Mr. Heath had a distinguished career in automobile engineering, starting with his apprenticeship to the Sunbeam Motor Company Ltd., and later with the Paris firm of Automobiles Talbot. He was subsequently the Rootes Ltd. representative in Australia and New Zealand; works manager of Humber-Hillman works; war-time British representative on the staff of the Ministry of Supply, and director in charge of Rootes aero engine shadow factories; and, post-war director in charge of all Rootes Group manufacturing. He joined Coventry Radiator and Presswork in 1950."
