Harold Scarth Arnold (1883-1948) of H. Arnold and Son

Born at Doncaster the son of William Sayles Arnold, a Contractor for Public Works.

1911 Residing at Allerton House, Doncaster: Harold Scarth Arnold (age 27 born Doncaster), Building and Engineering Contractor. With his wife Gladys May.[1]

1948 Died. 'Mr. Harold Arnold, governing director Doncaster firm of public works contractors, H. Arnold and Son, died to-day while convalescing at Ruthin, North Wales. He had been lit for a few months at his home Bournemouth. Kirkstall Power Station, Leeds, was built by Mr. Arnold's firm.'[2]
