1932 "Messrs. Harper and Moores Firebrick Company, Limited, Stourbridge, has been formed to acquire and carry on the old-established firebrick business of Messrs. Harper and Moores, Limited. The colliery undertaking belonging to the latter concern has been disposed of; the services of the late managing director, Mr. V. R. Westcott, have, however, been retained. The capacity of the company for efficient production and its technical equipment have been improved."[1]
