Harrow Stores is a privately owned company operating as complete outfitters, furnishers and drapers from its head office and warehouse at Edgware, London and its 18 branches in the South of England. This acquisition represents Tesco's entry into the department stores business and they also obtain facilities for the development of non-food lines in their supermarket chain.[5]
