1904 The company was incorporated as a public company which had been formed to acquire and work valuable inventions in pumps, including patents, with the aim of making high efficiency pumps at low cost. The chairman of the company was C. Williamson Milne, chairman of the Edwards Air Pump Syndicate Ltd, of London; another director was Frank L. Rowe, manager of the Edwards Air Pump Syndicate Ltd[1]
1905 Announced order from War Department for condensing plant, including Edwards patent air pumps, and a separate contract for a large direct-acting steam pumping engine [2]
