Hayle Swing Bridge

1877 Reconstructed by Thomas Hughes Gibbons, replacing an old iron drawbrige.
The bridge was hydraulically raised, and turned manually via a system of gears and chains.
c.1946 Closed to shipping.
1982 Railway line closed.
