1845 Messrs. George Heath was founded.

1863 His son, George Wilson Heath, was apprenticed to the business

1870 George junior completed his apprenticeship

1872 George became proprietor of the business.

1882 the firm was reconstituted as a limited liability company.

Built two factories at Crayford and New Eltham to cope with the firm's growing requirements

By 1937 the business was incorporated with Messrs. W. F. Stanley and Co Ltd.
