HENRY AUGUSTUS GUY died at his residence, Valley Field, Grosvenor Road, Scarborough, on May 15, 1915. He was closely associated with the introduction of self-hardening steel in America, and was for over twenty years one of the leading steel experts in Sheffield.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1890.
