c1878 Born the son of Walter Brooks and his wife Mary Jane Boggs

1911 Living at Eldon Lodge, Penns Lane, Erdington, near Birmingham: Walter Brooks (age 62 born Hinckley), Retired formerly Building Contractor and Timber Merchant and later Cycle Manufacturer. With his wife Mary Jane Brooks (age 59 born Birmingham) and their son Henry Boultbee Brooks (age 33 born Edgbaston), Manufacturing Electronics Engineer - Motor Dynamos. Walter and Mary married 40 years with 8 children of whom 5 are still living.[1]
