Henry Chandler (1812- ) of Richmond and Chandler
1812 November 5th. Born in Stoke, Surrey, the son of William Chandler, a mealman, and his wife Elizabeth. Quaker registration.
1861 Living at The Grove, Eccles New Road, Pendleton: Henry Chandler (age 48 born Guildford), Agricultural Implement Maker. With his two sisters Hannah Chandler (age 45 born Guildford) and Sarah Chandler (age 41 born Bristol). Two servants.[1]
1881 Living at (?), Lower Allithwaite: Henry Chandler (age 68 born Guildford) With his wife Harriet Chandler (age 43 born Newcastle) and their three daughters; Evelyn Chandler (age 19 born Eccles); Olive M. Chandler (age 15 born Eccles); Beatrice H. Chandler (age 13 born Eccles). Also his mother-in-law Margaret Smith (age 80 born Welbury, Yorkshire). Five servants.[2]
