Henry Hallilay and Sons

of Wakefield, maker of copperas and dyes

c.1834 John Hallilay & Sons was concerned with dyes as well as copperas.

1837 the firm of Henry Hallilay & Sons, copperas manufacturers, appeared in the directories, presumably having acquired John Hallilay's business.

1848 Copperas manufacture was carried on, at Chald House, Wakefield, in the name of William Hallilay who was also a logwood grinder.
