With his wife Caroline Oertling (age 32 born Kingston) and their son Henry Oertling (age 3 born London). Also his nephew Frederick Oertling (age 19 born Germany), Philosophical Instrument Maker, and his niece Charlotte Rodine (age 10 born London). One visitor. One servant.[1]

1897 September 30th. Death of his wife Emily Clara.[2]

1899 August 5th. Married(2) to Oeonone Emile -.[3]

1911 Living at The Hermitage, Grange Road, Barnes: Henry Oertling (age 63 born St. Giles, London), Balance manufacturer - Employer. With his wife Oenone Oertling (age 35 born Dalston) and his three children; Lewis Oertling (age 20 born Barnes); Irene Oertling (age 10 born Barnes); and Christine Oertling (age 5 born Barnes). 1921 December 19th. Died, of The Hermitage, Barnes. Probate to his widow Oeonone Emile Oertling and others.
