Henry Reed, Pastry Cook and Confectioner, of 11, London Road, West Croydon.
1861 Henry and Harriet Reed originally from Brighton, lived at Canterbury Road, Croydon.
In the mid 1860s they moved to London Road and started running a bakery at no. 21.
1871 Employed 10 assistants, five of whom lived on the premises.
1880 Henry and Harriet Reed occupied what was known as 'The Villa' on what was previously the Oakfield Estate.
1881 Census lists Henry as a baker employing 3 men, 1 boy and 2 females.
They remained at the Villa until circa 1887 when they moved to Kidderminster Road.
