Born the son of James Stocker, a Carpenter.

1911 Living at Laurel Cottage, Elmside, Exeter: Henry Stocker (age 60 born Exeter), Tailor and Outfitter. With his wife Ellen Partridge Stocker (age 54 born Teignmouth). Also his SIL.[1]

1939 Living at Laurel Cottage, Elmside, Exeter, an Outfitter's Secretary. Also Henry R. Stocker (born1880) retired farmer, and Ester E. Stocker (born 1881).[2]

1942 Died. 'MR. H. STOCKER DIES AT EXETER. Devon Freemasonry lost one of its oldest and most outstanding personalities by the death at his home, Laurel Cottage, Elmside, Exeter, yesterday morning of Mr. Henry Stocker, at the age of 91. He was the brother of Mr. John Stocker. who was prominent in civic life for over half a century, and who died recently, also at the age of 91. Son of the late Mr. James Stocker, who carried on business in St. Thomas, where the family had been resident for over 200 years, Mr. Stocker started business on his account as a tailor, and in 1873 opened a shop at Eastgate. He retired in 1930....'[3]
