1829 Dissolution of the Partnership between Benjamin Heywood and Thomas Heywood, as Bankers, in Manchester, under the firm of Heywood, Brothers, and Co. in consequence of the said Thomas Heywood's retirement from business. The business will be carried on by the said Benjamin Heywood, in the said firm, until the 24th day of June next; and from and after that time in the firm of Benjamin Heywood and Co.

1860 Dissolution of the Partnership, as Bankers, in the city of Manchester, under the firm of Sir Benjamin Heywood, Bart., and Company, so far only as regards Sir Benjamin Heywood, who retires therefrom. The business will be continued by the remaining partners, under the firm of Heywood, Brothers, and Company.[1]

1860 Heywood passed the business to four of his sons.[2]

1874 Became part of Manchester and Salford Bank
