1850 No. 191 is Pinder and Co, outfitting warehouse. Established Exeter depot six years ago.[1]

1878 No. 191 is Pinder and Tuckwell, tailors.[2]

1897 No. 191 is Pinder and Tuckwell, tailors.[3]

1910 No. 191 is Pinder and Tuckwell, tailors.[4]

1934 Nos. 190-191 High Street - Woolworths here moved from premises in Fore Street. The two buildings were put together with an impressive Monks Park Stonework facade, installed by the Bath and Portland Stone Firms.[5]

1935 Nos. 190-191 High Street are F. W. Woolworth, Bazaar.[6]

1955 Nos. 190-191 High Street are F. W. Woolworth. Departmental Store.[7]

1966 Nos. 190-191 High Street are F. W. Woolworth. Departmental Store.[8]

1976 Woolworths moved out and in to premises in the Guildhall Shopping Centre (now Wilko). In December 2008 Woolworth left those premises.

1983 Nos. 190-191 High Street are F. W. Woolworth. Departmental Store.[9]

1994 No. 191 High Street is HMV Store.[10]

1997 No. 191 High Street is HMV Store.[11]

2022 No. 191 is The Works, stationers.
