1921 Private company.

1942 the Company hitherto trading as PATTISON & HOBOURN. LIMITED, Precision and General Engineers, Coventry, has now changed its Title to HOBOURN AERO COMPONENTS. LIMITED[1]

1943 Formerly Pattison and Hobourn (see advert)

1950 Charles James Pattison was chief engineer of the company[2]

By 1958 was a subsidiary of Thomas Tilling[3]

1958 Acquired a substantial shareholding in F. N. F. Machinery Manufacturing from Courtaulds[4]

1961 Engaged as precision engineers, manufacturers of light engineering components for the motor, aircraft and agricultural industries, textile machinery, oil, hydraulic and rotary pumps etc. 900 employees.[5]. A subsidiary of Thomas Tilling.

1962 Mr P. Hobourn, founder of the company retired; a new holding company was formed Hobourn Group, with P. L Hobourn as President[6]

1978 Name changed to Motor Hydraulics Ltd, a member of the Hobourn Group
