1980 Holec (U.K.) Ltd was incorporated. Acquired Ferrofort-Holec Ltd (formerly Ferrofort (Engineers) Ltd) for cash.

1983 Holec Ltd was renamed Trend Controls Ltd, then Trend Control Systems Ltd

1985 The trade and trading assets were transferred to the parent company. The name of Trend Control Systems Ltd was changed to Horsham Nominees Ltd. Trend Control Systems Ltd of Horsham became a manufacturer of building management systems.
