1994 Acquired Reckitt's Colours which became part of the new subsidiary Holliday Pigments Ltd. Also formed Holliday Dispersions Ltd. Acquired a fine chemicals plant in Germany which had capacity to make some of the products of the James Robinson range. William Blythe of Accrington, maker of inorganic chemicals, was also a subsidiary.[1]
