1891 Directory: Listed. John Walmsley and Sons, Holme and Vale Mills; 674 looms, India and China shirtings and twills; [1]

1911 Engineer is John Sharples.[2]

1939 weaving stopped

1941 it was used for war service.

1951 Weaving started again

1958 Finally closed
