1828 The business was founded in Narrow Street, Limehouse.

1870s Moved to Hatcham Manor Works, Tustin Street, off the Old Kent Road.

1896 Company registered as Dr. Horace Cory & Co. Ltd,

1900 The company was registered on 18 April, to take over the business of chemical colour manufacturers of Dr. Horace Cory and Co [1]. The chairman of the new company was Charles Driscoll Tustin, a colour manufacturer.

WWI John Bryant was managing director at about the time of World War I.

Post-WWII: The firm moved to Nathan Way, Plumstead Marsh.

1960 Had sixty vats for the production of lakes and pigments

Later was partly owned by H. Kohnstamm & Co. Inc. and Britannic Assurance plc.
