1903 Horace left Hove to concentrate on steam turbine development (presumably with C. A. Parsons and Co)
1908 Horace left employment with Charles Algernon Parsons in December to join with brothers in forming Short Brothers
1911 Horace Short 38, aeronautical engineer, lived at Parsonage Farm, Eastchurch with Catherine Short 35, Leonard Short 10, Francis Short 5, Kathleen Short 8[1]
