Horncastle Railway
The Horncastle and Kirkstead Railway changed its name in 1854 and became the Horncastle railway. The seven mile line ran from Woodhall Junction to Horncastle and was opened in 1855. [1]
1854 The company was incorporated.
1889 Engineer is Richard Johnson.[2]
1908 The line is 7.5 miles in length, and is worked by the Great Northern Railway company. [3]
1923 Became part of London and North Eastern Railway. [4]
