1830 Sale notice: 'To DYERS, BLEACHERS, and OTHERS. ( Exempt from Duty. ) By JAMES FROST, On the Premises lately occupied by Charles Tavaré, in Canal-street, Ancoats, in Manchester, on Monday, the 26th March, 1832, at eleven o’clock precisely : The remaining part of the STOCK-IN-TRADE of the said Charles Tavaré, consisting of one twelve cylinder drying and finishing machine, two excellent dash wheels and geering, four blue vats, washing yats, indigo mills, steam boilers, iron pans of various sizes, Caravan and geers, liquor pumps, a quantity of lead, iron and wood pipes and spouts, large blocks and ropes, tubs and winces, a few packages of dyewoods and drugs, old iron and timber ; also all the household FIXTURES in the three houses adjoining, comprising ovens, grates, boilers, cupboards, &c. &c.; and at three o’clock precisely, will be sold, a SHARE in the MANCHESTER PORTICO.
