1886 Hugh Kennedy and Sons contractors, Glasgow, who are at present constructing some very heavy works for the Caledonian Railway.[1]

1898 Company dissolved. Business continued by William Kennedy, Railway and Public Works contractor; and Hunter Kennedy and J. Guthrie Kennedy, Railway and Public Works contractors.[2]

1897 THE Firm of HUGH KENNEDY & SONS, Con- tractors, Partick, was DISSOLVED as at 30th November 1897. The Subscriber William Kennedy will receive payment of all debts due to, and. will pay all debts due by, the dissolved Firm.

The Subscriber William Kennedy will carry on business as a Railway and Public Works Contractor in his own name and for his own behalf, at 40 Merkland Street, Partick. See William Kennedy (Contractors)

The Subscribers M. Hunter Kennedy and J. Guthrie Kennedy will carry on business as Railway and Public Works Contractors in Partnership under the Firm of Kennedy Brothers, at 217 West George Street, Glasgow. [3]
