Hulne Park Bridges, Northumberland

From Graces Guide

near Alnwick

There are several bridges here. These are the most interesting:-

Iron bridge with three arches: From its delicate appearance and good condition, it might be expected that this elegant bridge is modern, but in fact it dates from 1812. It was constructed by Isaac and Thomas Cookson of Close Gate, Newcastle. See here for map and high resolution photo, and here for map and photos.

Duchess's Bridge: A trussed arch timber and iron footbridge originally constructed in 1868. The wooden parts have been repalced in recent years. More information here and here.
