1872 Advert: 'FOR SALE, one 65-Horse Power CONDENSING BEAM ENGINE, by Messrs Fairbairn, of Manchester, 41 in cylinder. 6ft. 6in. stroke, with spur wheel 21ft. diameter, Cornish drop valves, Goodfellow's patent piston; complete (together with engine bed) and in working order. Tho engine has only run about three years. Also, almost 200 ft. of 12in. STEAM PIPES, with four elbows. Also, one STEAM CRANE, cylinder 7in. diameter. - The whole may be seen on application to Oldroyd, Blakeley, & Latta, Hunslet Mills, Leeds.'[1]
