Ian Forbes Davies (1917-1940)


1940/41 Obituary [1]

Ian Forbes Davies was born in 1917.

He received his engineering training with D. Napier and Son, and afterward spent a further year with the same firm as Research Engineer.

At the beginning of the war he joined the R.A.F. and attained the rank of Flying-Officer.

He was killed in a flying accident on 23rd October, 1940.

He was elected a Graduate in 1939.
